Talent & Performance Manager Permanent

This exciting newly created role will see you develop your team into the newly created talent and performance function. This is a team of exceptional people working within the HR/Recruitment/L&D groups.

Providing excellent leadership, you will drive the talent, performance engagement and diversity & inclusion agenda shaping an already high performing national organisation.

Key Accountabilities:

STRATEGIC 

• Develop, implement and embed succession planning practices, talent management and development programmes across the organisation to enable them to fully utilise the potential of their people and meet future and changing business needs.
• Oversee development and evolution of the talent acquisition strategy to ensure that they are able to proactively fulfil their resource requirements.

TRAINING

• Provide leadership to ensure that the training strategy and programmes meet the business needs and support the wider business strategy.
• Evolve the training programmes to become a best in class organisation.

DEVELOPMENT

• Enable and ensure the development of interventions focused on improving manager competence and capability. Lead the effective implementation and measurement of management capability.
• Lead the creation and evolution of the organisations development strategy to ensure engagement through career and personal development.
• Ensure the provision of creative, innovative and agile learning interventions that meet the changing needs of the organisation.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

• Develop a performance management strategy and embed culturally aligned performance management processes to consistently measure and drive performance improvement.
• Develop processes and practices to measure and monitor ROI.
• Work closely with the Executives team to ensure alignment of the performance management and reward and recognition strategies.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

• Devise policies and processes to reinforce diversity and inclusion commitment.
• Reporting on D & I performance to the leadership team and wider business.

• Proven capabilities as a senior leader and manager with a proactive, flexible and inclusive management style
