Your Purpose

• To be a subject matter expert in digital learning within Canvas
• To support the curation of all digital assets developed by and for the organisation in Canvas
• To hold the relationship between Canvas and the organisation for any Learning Solutions Team members queries with the platform
• To support the Learning Solutions team in all things LMS
• To actively monitor and continuously improve the learning experience within Canvas
• To collaborate cross functionally to ensure Canvas is a successful learning platform for our learners
• To support project management within the Learning Solutions Team
• To administer all Canvas tickets and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure they understand the LMS system

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have been responsible for an LMS or able to demonstrate the implementation and continuous improvement of an LMS.  Most importantly a desire to grow in the role and develop others.

Skills and attributesU

• Understanding of Adult Education and adult learning principles
• Knowledge of the NZQA framework, unit standard writing and qualification development
• Digital asset development, knowledge and implementation
• LMS implementation and management with a preference for Canvas or closely related LMS Skills and attributes
• Digitally savvy with a passion for technology
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite, other digital authoring tools and the ability to pick up new technology easily
• Ability to multitask and work on a variety of projects (to deadline) with excellent planning and organization skills
• Outstanding relationship skills with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent training and coaching skills
• Change management experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral » Collaborative and willing to listen and seek input from others
• Strong analytical skills

Reporting to the Digital Programme Manager, you will be a key point of contact and be integral to the Learning Solutions  team
