Herd Manager Permanent

We offer an opportunity to join a high performing farm in the Wairarapa. This position could be well suited to a Junior Herd Manager with 3 years experience from a large sizeable farm that now wishes to take on more responsibility and work in a smaller friendly team.

The successful applicant must have a minimum 3 years experience, must be fit and willing to undergo a Medical. We will accept applications from applicants who are confident of being able to offer commitment, exceptional work habits and who can provide references to support their work experience and professional ethics.

This farms systems, equipment and team are all of the highest standard and they pride ourselves on being able to offer the best working and living conditions that are also recognised as being such in their region. In this role you will not be required to work outside your normal scheduled hours i.e. no call backs.

The Herd Managers accommodation is of a high standard and is ideally suited to a family. The school bus stops close to the gate and drops off at the local decile 8 primary school and a decile 6 college for years 9 – 13.

The ideal start for our new Herd Manager will be negotiable between the 1st and mid June 2021.
