Wellington Free Ambulance is the only paramedic service for the Greater Wellington region, which encompasses Wellington, Kapiti and the Wairarapa and are the only free paramedic and ambulance service throughout New Zealand. Taking healthcare to the patient in the community, as well as providing emergency paramedic care is all part of their mission.
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Manager to ensure delivery of the highest quality patient care received from the Clinical Hub within the Clinical communications Centre based in Wellington.
This role will be responsible for a team of Clinical Advisors dealing with telephone triage and assessment functions, provide leadership in clinical best practice, active mentoring and monitoring of practitioners, project management, keeping policies and standards of practice up to date, as well as stakeholder management of other healthcare services.
As a new role, there is a clear focus on developing the Clinical Hub into the future and with it a fantastic opportunity to develop and grow the role.
